1. Annual Fund Drive
   As a nonprofit organization, we strive to provide the finest entertainment at the most affordable price. Ticket revenues account for less than half of the funds needed each year to put the tent in the air and the performers on the stage. The rest of these dollars come from our dedicated donors through charitable contributions. Be a "stakeholder" and help us raise the tent again this spring for another great season!

2. Show & Performer Sponsorships
   Sponsoring one of our shows is a great marketing tool that can reach thousands of influential consumers across the state. Sponsors underwrite, in part, associated promotion and production costs of our events; in turn BTC provides a number of promotional activities to bring your name to our audiences. Also House Performers can be sponsored for the entire season. A gift of stock can provide much-needed support for BTC and offers you financial benefits as well. Publicly traded securities (stocks, bonds, etc.) may be transferred to BTC, entitling you to an income tax deduction for the full market value of the securities allowing you to avoid capital gains taxes. For instructions on how to transfer your securities to BTC, contact the Development Office at 715-373-5520.

A charitable bequest in your will qualifies you for charter membership in the Big Top Chautauqua Heritage Society and helps BTC in the future. There are several ways to make a bequest to BTC through your will or trust. To make sure all legal requirements are met, it is important that you have an attorney draft or revise your will or trust. Charitable bequests are fully deductible in your estate since the IRS recognizes BTC as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Please contact the Development Office directly for more information.
